Sizing Information

I have added information for each individual garment in order to ensure the best fit possible!

Extreme thought and care was put into our decisions in relation to sizing. We value inclusivity of all kinds incredibly and are working towards being able to create a wider range of sizes in the future. Currently as we are a handmade label and completely self funded, the cost of ethical production in Australia makes it very financially challenging to create a larger range of sizes. As mentioned, this is not ideal and it will be the first change made once we are able to grow the business.

BABYDOLL DRESS:

The Babydoll Dress is currently handmade in Sydney in 5 sizes;

XS, S, M, L & XL

These sizes were decided upon after much thought and many fittings. The dress is made from high quality headstock stretch fabric which allows for a larger variety of girls to be able to wear each size. Size inclusivity is extremely important to us and as our business grows increasing our size range whilst at the same time still limiting our textile waste as much as possible will be one of our highest priorities.

TED TROUSERS:

 Ted is currently available in 4 sizes; XS, S, M & L with custom orders outside of this size range always available!

Ted is created from a super soft fabric with stretch this allows for a greater range of sizes to fit to the same size. For example, I have listed the size XS pants to best fit a 4-6 AU, however this size has been fitted on a size 8 just with a tighter fit. Ted is a mid-low waisted pant with a relaxed fit. If this is the fit you desire - choose your regular size. If you would prefer more firm fit around the top half of the garment and are in between size ranges eg (6-8 au) the XS would be suitable. 

Size Guide (AU sizes)

XS - (4-6 AU) 

S - ( 8 AU)

M - (10-12 AU)

L - (14 -16 AU)

 

Below is a size guide for the Ted Trousers to help make the most accurate selection.

Keep in mind that the waist measurement for the trousers will not match your usual waist measurement. This is because the garment will sit on your hips/lower waist instead of your upper waist which is usually a smaller measurement. 

 

 

BISOUS HALTER:

The Bisous halter is currently handmade in 3 sizes;

XS/S, S/M, M/L.

These sizes were decided upon after much thought and many fittings. This particular top proved to fit a large variety of sizes and cup sizes due to the adjustable nature of its open back and tie. We decided that producing a large variety of sizes in this particular top would be wasteful as the difference in fit between each size would be so insignificant.

Size inclusivity is extremely important to us and the development of 3 sizes which would be able to cater for every girl was crucial. Extensive fittings were held to ensure each of the sizes was comfortable and fit properly on a wide variety of girls.

Size Guide (AU sizes)

XS/S - (4-8 AU) - This size is recommend if you have a small cup size.

S/M - (8-10 AU)

M/L - (12-16 AU) - This size was designed to fit and support a large cup size.
